Grundig Mobile has pushed the U900 into the running of upcoming Linux-based phones race. The impact maybe promising as this little baby provides with UMTS 3G support. The phone has a 2” QVGA (240x320 pixels), 262K color display screen and a 2MP CMOS camera (with flash). It supports most multimedia formats like MP3, AAC, JPEG, GIF, BMP, etc. It also handles video playback.
There’s a whole 100MB of memory for users to utilize to their leisure. In addition to this it also has a microSD expansion slot. Connectivity specs include Bluetooth and USB support. Other features include FM Radio, Front camera for video conferencing, WAP and HTML browsing and GPRS. The phone is powered by a Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery and provides with talk time of 2.5 hours. The company hasn’t disclosed the availability or price as yet.
