LG Announces Two New WCDMA Phones

LG Electronics has announced that GSM Association (GSMA) selected LG-KM560 and LG-KP330 phones to lead GSMA’s Horizon Phone Campaign. The initiative aims to provide a range of multi-band Mobile Broadband handsets and meet the needs of customers around the world. Many manufacturers do often implement the support of a single or dual WCDMA band. While LG’s new handsets boast of tri-band 3G support – 850, 1900 and 2100 MHz in addition to GSM bands, thus they enable automatic roaming in over 220 countries.

Initially LG-KM560 and LG-KP330 will be available through operators in Europe, Asia and Latin America in 2H 08..

LG VX9400 V CAST Mobile TV Phone from Verizon Wireless

At today's CES event, LG announced the LG VX9400 V CAST Mobile TV phone to be offered by Verizon Wireless. The new phone will be available in Q1 2007, and will support V CAST Mobile TV. The phone is a slim and sleek, bar-style design with a large LCD screen for optimal television viewing and new, cutting edge features.

V CAST Music and Video are also accessible with the VX9400, as are Get It Now, Mobile Web 2.0, Bluetooth capabilities, one-touch speakerphone, and a 1.3 megapixel camera and camcorder. With an external memory card, users can record up to one hour of video.

LG Viewty DivX Mobile Phone

LG and DivX inc. unveiled their partnership to enable a high-quality consumer media experience with the new 5.0 mega-pixel digital camera phone LG Viewty. The DivX Mobile Certified LG Viewty supports DivX playback. DivX is a widely popular digital media format that allows users to create, share and playback high-quality video content across many platforms and devices. LG LB3300 Music Phone

LG Electronics has announced a new music phone called “Rhapsody in Music Phone” and marked as LG-LB3300. Mark Levinson, the founder of MLAS honoured the event by his presence.

The LG-LB3300 features a touch wheel key, LED lighting, a 1GB built-in memory for storing 256 songs. It also gives users an option to store more with 4GB expandable external memory option. Users can play their favorite songs in 8 equalizer settings including natural, pop, classic, jazz, and etc.

LG-LB3300 supports Bluetooth headphone, so you can roam hands free. As announced, the latest cell phone model will be available in two color options black and white. Later in Feb 2008, LG plans to roll put its pink model too.

LG KG290 Slider Phone

The LG KG290 Slider Phone was released earlier this month after much anticipation. This slider phone is small and slim enough to slip comfortably in your pocket, and features a nice 1.7-inch TFT color screen, and a numerical keypad that slides out vertically. A 1.3-megapixel camera is also included in the phone, which is also capable of recording video. An FM radio is integrated into the phone as well.

One complaint that has so far emerged about the phone online in comments by users is the fact that it does not come pre-packaged with a USB cord, so if you're thinking about buying one you'll likely need to get a USB cable of your own that works with the phone.

Talk time on the LG KG290 is up to 200 hours stand-by, and up to 2-hours of talk-time. The phone is available in two color choices: black and grey. It is currently available in Japan.

LG KH-1800 Orange

LG has launched their 13.3mm thick 3G slider in Korea, the LG-KH1800 also known as "Orange color phone". The phone comes with multitasking button where you can use SMS service, telephone directory, and alarm setting even while you are calling. Beside that, the phone also boasts the 3G WCDMA automatic roaming service and all the common features such as MP3 playback, text viewer camera and electronic dictionary function. The LG-KH1800 comes with an expected of 352,000 KRW ($375) via KTF telecom.
